  • Stage 2 Fire Restrictions in effect within Rocky Mountain National Park: Due to extremely high winds, fire danger, and the extended weather forecast, Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are now in effect within Rocky Mountain National Park. When Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are in effect, all campfires, including charcoal briquette fires, are not permitted anywhere within Rocky Mountain National Park. This fire ban is effective beginning March 12, 2026 and will remain in effect until further notice. Petroleum-fueled stoves & grills may be used. Stoves must be able to be turned on and off.
